Overview As a commitment to helping our Customers maximise their return on investment and ensure proper disposal of IT equipment, Business Force has integrated a sophisticated Refurbishment & Disposal service within our IT management service solution Governed by rigorous ISO 9001:2000 and ISO14001:2004 Management Systems, the processing facilities have uncovered significant ownership savings for many of our major Customers and partners through a structured approach to legacy inventory management whilst ensuring legal and environmental compliance. Available on flexible modular approach Business Force customers not only select their current requirements individually, on a mix-and-match basis, or more significantly as part of a managed service solution, but also include others as and when they need to, providing security and future proofing. As part of Business Force core Recycling services, we have the ability to refurbish IT product back into a customer estate. This ensures that organisations maximise the current hardware they have and minimise the purchasing requirements. By using our lifecycle procurements tool customer have the choice of: First using the refurbished stock via there ecatalogue rather than allowing users to purchase new. Business Force also encourages its customers to manage their leaver and starter process this way, therefore ensuring no new equipment is purchased for new starters when redundant equipment can be used first. Business Force also have the ability to upgrade hardware that in its original state does not meet the customer minimum spec but with a basic upgrade could easy be fit for purpose. More details... We will in line with your requirements look to provide you with a fully ISO9001:2000 / ISO14001:2004 managed WEEE recycling solution. This is a cost effective solution driven by the Data Protection Act 1998 and the WEEE / ROHS directives: Equipment that falls within your specification are refurbished to as new condition, Items that fall below your specification but within our saleable specification are graded for residual value and subsequently re-marketed as whole units or parts. Items that do not fall within the saleable specification and are not resalable, will be disposed of in line with all environmental legislations including the WEEE / ROHS directives and in line with our 100% no landfill policy. All saleable assets containing data can be software audited to recover re-usable software licenses. Otherwise Data will be cleansed using Blancco. This incorporates a 3-wipe pass to MOD certification DOD 5220.22-M or HMG Infosec Standard No: 5 (enhanced). We can cleanse to higher standards if required. Assets or media received that is not saleable will be shredded and ground down to a size of 2mm conforming to the data protection act where by making any data irretrievable. All items are processed through BS4737 certified operations facility and by allocating a unique tracker barcode to each device enables us to track and audit each item throughout our ISO 9001 certified processes.
